Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of equipment as necessary.
- Operate various vehicles including vans, box trucks, and forklifts for transporting materials.
- Load and unload supplies and equipment safely.
- Drive commercial vehicles as needed for deliveries or transport of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Valid driver's license with experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts and box trucks is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
