American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a WY or compact RN license, a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, and ACLS/PALS certifications.

22-bed Emergency Department in a hospital setting
-
1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
-
At least 2 RNs on the unit at all times
-
12-hour night shifts; available shift windows include 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 12p-12a, 3p-3a, and 7p-7a
-
Weekend shifts required
-
No floating to other units or departments
-
T-system EMR in use
-
Pyxis medication dispensing system utilized

Telestroke technology available on the unit

Active WY state or compact RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

TNCC preferred

Minimum 2 years of ED experience required

2 professional references required for consideration: 1 supervisor reference from within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from the position's specialty within the last 3 years

2–3 day unit orientation plus hospital orientation provided

Candidates must provide own scrubs; no specific color required

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
