We are looking for a Part-Time Medical Assistant with a flexible schedule to help assist in our office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. This position is especially well-suited for college students, pre-med students, nursing students, medical assistant students, or anyone seeking hands-on clinical experience while attending school. This job does require transportation as we have offices in Largo and Tampa. Compensation and carpooling are provided for travel.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Admit patients for office visit – obtain chart, call patient back, obtain weight, take patient to room and take brief history and vital signs
- Assist physician as needed (drawing up medications, consents)
- Assist physician in special procedure room for injections
HOURS WILL VARY EACH WEEK - CAN RANGE FROM 8-18 HOURS
