Job Summary
The Companies of J.J. Young is seeking skilled candidates for our client's Maintenance Technician position. The client manages several apartment complexes in the Capital Region and is looking for a maintenance technician for their Wilton complex. The ideal candidate has experience with apartment turnovers and is able to do moderate level repairs. Driver's License and personal transportation are required.
***On Call Every 6 Weeks***
Every 6 weeks, you will be on call for any emergency situations. While on call, you may have to travel to the other locations, furthest south being down in Glenmont and Wilton being the furthest North. While on call, you will be compensated for travel based on mileage.
Duties
- Maintain common areas
- Respond to work orders
- Some grounds and snow maintenance
- Apartment turnover
- Document necessary repairs and maintenance
Qualifications
- Experience with apartment turnovers
- Professional experience with painting, carpentry, light electrical, light plumbing, etc.
- Ability to work consistent/structured hours each week and be on call every 6 weeks
- Excellent customer service skills when assisting tenants
- Driver's License and personal transportation are required
