Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the maintenance operations of the facility
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols
- Supervise a team of maintenance staff and provide guidance and support
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program for equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other facility systems
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed using appropriate tools and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Create and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and procedures
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including high voltage applications
- Experience with HVAC systems and controls
- Familiarity with facilities management principles
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent supervisory skills to effectively lead a team of maintenance staff
- Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
