Northwest Traffic Control, LLC is currently seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) to join our Idaho and Washington growing team. Position Overview
The Traffic Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, inspecting, and coordinating traffic control operations to ensure compliance with approved traffic control plans, MUTCD standards, and project specifications while maintaining the safety of workers and the traveling public.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and inspect traffic control setups for compliance with approved plans and regulations
- Conduct pre-worksite inspections and participate in job site meetings with contractors and engineers
- Assist with developing and implementing effective Traffic Control Plans
- Monitor and adjust traffic control operations to meet project and contractor needs
- Read, interpret, and implement traffic control plans accurately
- Maintain daily reports, timesheets, and inventory logs using tablets or paper documentation
- Load and unload traffic control equipment as needed
- Manage and coordinate large traffic control crews effectively and professionally
- Promote a safe, professional, and efficient work environment always
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) Certification Card – Required
- Valid Flagger Certification Card
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Clean driving record required
- Ability to manage large crews and maintain efficient jobsite operations
- Personal cell phone required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented mindset
Compensation
Compensation for Federal projects is based on applicable Davis Bacon or Prevailing wage rates, including fringe benefits paid directly to employees. Competitive compensation is offered based on experience, certifications, leadership ability, and project requirements.
