American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting requiring 2+ years of experience and a valid Oregon PT license.

Acute Care Hospital setting
-
13-week assignment with Day shift, 3x12 hours (8:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
-
Weekend rotation required, including at least 3 weekend shifts within a 4-week rotation
-
Possible holiday shift coverage depending on timing

Epic EMR preferred for charting
-
May float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
-
Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience required

Acute Care experience preferred
-
BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required
-
Graduate of a program approved by the Committee on Accreditation in Education of the American Physical Therapy Association
-
Valid Oregon PT license or license eligibility required (license required if applicable)
-
BLS certification required
-
Trauma Level II experience preferred
-
Epic charting experience required
-
Skills in patient assessment, adaptive/assistive devices, body mechanics, and vital sign monitoring required

Experience with equipment such as Hoyer lifts, gait belts, walkers, and specialty beds required

Experience with cardiopulmonary, geriatric, neurologic, and orthopedic patient populations preferred
-
Rehabilitation Hospital setting experience preferred
-
Vestibular therapy skills preferred
-
Sliding board experience preferred
-
Responsible for patient evaluation, treatment plan development, and follow-through to support hospital care goals

Gait training and strength testing are part of core responsibilities
-
Documentation duties include assessment, evaluation, and plan of care updates
-
Candidates may float to a nearby affiliate hospital as part of standard scheduling practices
-
Former permanent employees must wait six months after termination before applying to travel positions within the health system

Facility does not accommodate block scheduling

RTO must be finalized prior to submission for consideration
