Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab team in Olympia Fields, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular or critical care settings and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Administer medications and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all hospital policies and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required and must remain current throughout employment.
- Minimum one (1) year of recent clinical experience in a Cardiovascular/Cath Lab performing cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care setting.
