- Greet customers entering the store with a smile and a good attitude.
- Find out what customers are coming in for and help to direct them to departments.
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
- Help stock shelves, and ensure prices are correct.
