JOB DESCRIPTION
SUIT CLUB is looking for a part-time Alterations Tailor to join our Midtown Manhattan showroom. In this role, you'll provide expert alterations service to our clients — primarily on SUIT CLUB garments, with some outside alterations as well.
Responsibilities
- Perform alterations on custom suits, sport coats, and shirts (taking in/letting out, sleeve/hem adjustments, etc.)
- Maintain quality and consistency across all altered garments
- Occasionally handle outside (non-SUIT CLUB) alteration requests
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years tailoring experience
- Proven experience in tailoring/alterations for mens suits
- Strong eye for fit and garment construction
- Comfortable working directly with clients in a fitting setting
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Schedule: Part-time — {1-2 days per week}
Location: 551 Madison Ave. 9th Floor
Pay: $32 - $38 / hour
