Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or services that meet their needs
- Promote and sell retail products, financial services, or banking solutions with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures
- Support customers with basic math calculations for purchases, discounts, or loan processing inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Maintain knowledge of store inventory, product features, and financial software to assist customers effectively
- Assist with retail math calculations and 10 key typing tasks to ensure precise transaction processing
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with banking or financial services is a plus
- Basic math skills including cash handling, retail math, and 10 key typing are essential for accurate transaction processing
- Knowledge of financial software systems enhances efficiency in processing loans or account inquiries
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are key to building rapport with customers
- Experience with loan processing or cashiering will be advantageous but can be learned on the job
