We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant Supervisor who is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting Maintenance Manager in supervising maintenance team and assist in ensuring continuing improvements with proper training and guidance
· Ensuring proper and timely maintenance and repair of equipment and reliably execute preventive maintenance programs to meet full compliance of the industry’s safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment’s to identify issues, minimize downtime and to anticipate problems
- Recommending, implementing, and managing solutions towards improving overall plant maintenance.
- Collaborate with external contractors, consultants, and cross-functional departments to support operations.
- Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Successful hands-on experience in mechanical systems. High-level expertise and experience in the electrical field would be most preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to multi-task in a highly active environment
- Good communication skills
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance or facility management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- NCCER certification required either Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (IMM) or Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry would be an asset
Wage
· Base wage starts at $32.00/hour. Final rate will be commensurate with expertise, experience, and technical education.
Job Type
· Full-time. 8-hour Day shift, Monday to Friday
