ABOUT DREAM ALIVE:
DREAM Alive (DA) is a Non-Profit (501c3) focused on mentoring youth in 6th-12th grade to become civic-minded leaders. DREAM Alive helps break the cycle of poverty by helping vulnerable youth discover career paths and mentoring them from 6th grade until high school graduation.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
Bus transportation to and from weekly field trips and summer activities is a vital service Dream Alive provides for our scholars. We are in need of a part-time bus driver who is available on Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday afternoons during the school calendar year. Hours will typically be 3:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Bus departs and returns each day to Arsenal Tech High School. A valid CDL is REQUIRED.
This is a part-time beginning Tuesday, September 8th. One day of paid training will be required previous to the start date.
PAY: $28 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to scholars and DREAM Alive staff by assisting with boarding and exiting the bus
- Obey all traffic laws
- Alert DREAM Alive staff if bus maintenance is needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- CDL endorsement required
- Previous bus driving experience preferred but not required
- Willing to work between 4-15 hours per week (we can be flexible with the # of hours/days you're available)
- Complete a background check with the state of Indiana (DREAM Alive will pay the fee)
- Subject to DOT drug testing
