Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Floor Manager to oversee front-of-house operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality and guest experience. This role is essential for ensuring smooth dining room operations, maintaining high service standards, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction while motivating and developing the front-of-house team.
Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise front-of-house staff, providing guidance, support, and training
* Ensure smooth daily operations on the restaurant floor during service
* Communicate effectively with BOH, staff, and management to coordinate service and resolve issues quickly
* Oversee guest experience, ensuring high standards of hospitality and service are consistently met
* Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally
* Assist with scheduling, social media, and managing FOH labor costs
* Monitor cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the dining room and service areas
* Ensure staff follow company service standards, policies, and procedures
* Support inventory tracking for FOH supplies (bar, service stations, etc.)
* Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Experience
* Strong background in restaurant or hospitality management with a focus on front-of-house operations
* Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to write corrective actions
* Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle complaints professionally
* Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems (we use TOAST)
*Experience with Google Docs
* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of restaurant service standards and food safety practices
* Knowledge of Google Doc/Sheets preferred
