Job Title: Plant Operator
Overview: Working with Plant Supervisor on all aspects of Production
Safety Expectations: The consultant is required to comply with all safety rules and to observe safe work practices and operating procedures at all times. Whenever on Suit-Kote property or job sites, or operating Suit- Kote equipment, consultants and others.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Load and Unload liquid materials into tankers and bulk storage tanks
- Keep workplace clean and organized
- Operate forklift and other equipment when needed
- Run errands and pick up supplies when needed
- Ability to follow direction
- Performing other duties around the emulsion plant as required
- Record inventories, run sheets and inspections daily.
- Operating and maintaining valves, pumps, hand/power tools and cutting grass around the facility
- Painting, sweeping, shoveling
- Working overtime and on weekends when needed
- Work from heights and in confined spaces (cleaning out bulk storage tanks)
Requirements:
- OSHA 10 Hour Safety Certificate
- Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required and a background check will be conducted
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
- Reliable transportation to and from work site
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, read a tape measure and be good in basic math
- Strong work ethic, self-starter and the willingness to help out the team
- Must have a clean motor-vehicle record

Salay Range: $20-$24/hour
