Newly built fabrication facility located in Ozark, Missouri in need of several qualified, reliable structural welders. If you have 2+ years experience welding Structural Steel or Pipe with SMAW or FCAW processes, what are you waiting for??
Must be able to take and pass a drug test and background check. Pay depends on experience.

What will you be doing?
-
Read and interpret welding instructions from documents, sketches, drawings, or verbal direction for the fabrication of engineered components.

Gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.

Repairs various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment.

Monitors the welding and burning process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage.

Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.

Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company Standards.

Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Skills & Abilities:

Pass a structural plate test.

Valid drivers license

Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.

Set-up and operate various types of arc-welding and cutting equipment.

Plan work and select proper tools.

Knowledge of technical and mechanical terminology, processes, and equipment.

Education & Experience:
Technical or on-the-job experience as well as certifications preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to weld components that are vertical, flat, or overhead.
-
Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
-
Ability to exert up to 70 pounds of force (pulling, pushing, lifting, carrying, etc.).
-
Ability to balance, sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and handle for 12 or more hours.
-
Ability to work around moving machinery including vibrating machinery and tolerate environmental conditions consisting of heat, cold temperatures, noise, vibration, fumes, and dust.

Ability to climb stairs or a ladder to perform essential job functions.

Ability to operate trucks and lifts in a safe manner and adhere to all company safety requirements.

Must be able to use hand and power tools.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception. Either naturally or with the aid of eyeglasses.
