Position Summary: Assist with kitchen preparation and meal service for residents and guests while ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction. Responsible for accurately following menus, delivering high-quality service, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the dining rooms, kitchen, and dishwashing areas.
Essential Responsibilities
✔ Prepare beverages, fruits, salads, desserts, and assist with additional food preparation as needed.
✔ Set up dining room tables for meal service.
✔ Accurately follow resident menus when preparing room trays and/or serving in the dining room.
✔ Take tableside meal orders and deliver food to residents in an organized, timely, and courteous manner.
✔ When appropriate, offer available options to exceed resident expectations.
✔ Deliver nourishments to resident units as required.
✔ Deliver food carts to designated locations and ensure carts are returned to the kitchen.
✔ Collect and dispose of trash and garbage in designated containers.
✔ Clean work areas, dining rooms, equipment, walls, cabinets, storage areas, and other assigned spaces in accordance with established procedures.
✔ Wash dishes, cookware, flatware, and trays using approved sanitation procedures.
✔ Perform all other position-related duties as assigned.

✔ Strong communication skills with the ability to interact tactfully and respectfully with individuals of varying ages, cultures, needs, abilities, and physical conditions.
