We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety and Compliance Coordinator to assist and oversee our company's health, safety, and regulatory compliance programs. This individual will be responsible for ensuring our operations meet all internal and external safety standards, regulations, and policies. The ideal candidate will be proactive, communicative, and passionate about fostering a culture of safety and accountability. Experience with McLeod and Samsara is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, and manage company-wide safety and compliance programs in accordance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory bodies.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions.
- Deliver training sessions on safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal laws related to workplace safety and environmental standards.
- Lead accident investigations and collaborate with HR and legal teams as needed.
- Maintain records and prepare compliance reports
- Act as the main liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections or inquiries.
- Monitor updates in legislation and best practices and implement necessary policy changes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety and compliance performance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
