Full Job Description

RN – Emergency Department (Level I Trauma) – Contract (13 Weeks)

Contract Dates: 05/11/2026 – 08/08/2026
Location: Arizona 85719 (Tucson Campus)
Pay: $1,987 – $2,230/week

Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
12-hour shifts
Weekends, holidays, and rotating assignments as needed

Position Summary & Responsibilities

Deliver emergency care in a Level I Trauma setting
Assess, triage, and treat high-acuity patients
Administer medications and interventions per protocol
Manage inpatient holds in the ED as assigned
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and document care

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
Minimum 2 years recent ED RN experience
Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center
Prior travel nursing experience
BLS certification

Required Certifications

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
NIHSS (Stroke certification)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a 500+ bed hospital

Additional Information

Required attire: Navy scrubs and navy warm-up jacket
