Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Attendant cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, banquet, or hospitality industry, however we are willing to train the right person if not. This is a PM 2nd shift usually entailing the hours of 4:00pm-11pm
-Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival at the bistro and provide them with information about available menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Assist guests in offering recommendations, and answering any questions they may have regarding food and beverage items.
Food and Beverage Preparation:
- Prepare and serve dinner items such as hot and cold.
- Ensure that all food and beverage products are prepared, handled, and stored safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bistro area, including the grill, fryer, coffee station, dining tables, and service counters.
Quality Control:
- Ensure that all food and beverages served meet the established quality standards in terms of taste, appearance, and temperature.
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels and respond promptly to any concerns or complaints regarding food or service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
