Overview
We're looking for a dependable and experienced Commercial Semi-Truck Driver to join our team. The right candidate will have at least 2 years of verified tractor-trailer driving experience, a strong focus on safety, and a professional attitude. This role involves transporting freight safely and on time while providing excellent service to customers and maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations. Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, tractor-trailers, and specialized equipment such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts or manual methods while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement.
- Drive assigned routes confidently, managing delivery schedules while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Secure cargo properly for transport to prevent damage or accidents during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
Experience
- Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record and a minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience, demonstrating strong safety practices and responsible driving habits.
- Proven experience operating various types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers.
- Familiarity with route driving across urban and rural areas under tight schedules.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo securement standards.
Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,000.00 per week
