We are currently hiring experienced caregivers throughout North County San Diego.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility assistance.
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
- Prepare meals and encourage hydration.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Escort clients to appointments, errands, and community outings.
- Assist with dementia and Alzheimer's care when needed.
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
- Follow each client's individualized care plan.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of professional or family caregiving experience preferred.
- Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Negative TB Test completed within 90 days prior to hire, or willingness to complete one within 7 days of hire.
- CPR certification is a plus but not required.
