Job Title: Remote LTM/EEG Analyst
Job Location: Remote (from home from a stationary HIPAA compliant workspace)
Job Description: The role of the Remote LTM EEG Analyst is to monitor patients’ brainwaves continuously via secure remote connection to EEG machines at patient bedsides in hospitals across the country. The Remote LTM EEG Analyst will detect EEG abnormalities and must be able to notify interpreting physicians of the data. Analysts are also expected to annotate and clip studies, create technical reports, complete safety huddles, and perform all other duties as assigned. **This position also requires on-call hours in addition to a consistent monitoring schedule.
Position Status: Part-Time Hourly, Non-Exempt
In addition, we offer night and weekend shift differential as well as incentive shift pay when working sEEG shifts, precepting, and when filling Shift Coordinator roles .
We are hiring for both evening and night/overnight positions. 20 hours per week + on-call.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge of adult/pediatric/neonatal/intracranial EEG patterns – both normal and abnormal
- Able to decipher artifacts from cortical activity
- Ability to work from home independently
- Able to document appropriately to meet industry standards and company and facility policies
- Skilled with computers and other basic technology
- Demonstrates knowledge of EEG equipment and can troubleshoot when necessary
- Maintains professional behavior with hospital clinicians/staff as well as fellow Remote Analysts
- Demonstrates competency with medical terminology and remains up-to-date with the latest ACNS guidelines, including EEG terminology
Position Qualifications
- Must reside in the USA
- Must be ABRET board certified (R.EEGT) at minimum
- Required to obtain Certification in CLTM within 2 years of hire
- Must provide on average 16-20 hours of consistent availability per week to be considered
- Must pass competency and skills assessment given by company during interview process
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of LTM cEEG experience in both the ICU/EMU settings
- Must have experience in all age ranges of EEG (neonate to adult)
- Must have valid CPR/BLS certification
- Must show proof of up-to-date vaccinations must be readily available
- Must produce a 10-panel negative drug screen in order to be credentialed at any healthcare facility in the USA
- Must show proof of high school transcript/diploma/GED required
- Must have a stationary HIPAA-compliant work area upgradeable to company requirements
- Must have reliable cell phone and internet coverage upgradeable to company requirements
- Knowledge of different EEG equipment (XLTEK, Nihon Kohden, Cadwell, etc.) is preferred
- Experience in sEEG monitoring preferred (additional incentive is given for this experience when an sEEG shift is worked)
