Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust, dirt, and debris.
- Conduct floor care task such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
- Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
- Report any maintenance issue or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Provide exceptional hospitality service by responding to guest requests in a timely manners.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is advantageous.
- Experience in housekeeping management or hotel environments will be considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
