```Duties:```
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software (Dentrix, Epic)
- Assist the dentist during procedures as necessary
```Qualifications:```
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- Associate's degree in dental hygiene (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Knowledge of medical coding and insurance billing
- Proficient in infection control protocols and practices
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment
- Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients on oral health
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and techniques
- Familiarity with dental office operations and administrative tasks
- Solid understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
