Position Summary
Shield Roofing is seeking a highly organized, experienced and customer-focused, Roof Insurance Restorations Claims Administrator / Administrative Assistant to support our growing roofing and restoration business. This position serves as the central point of communication between homeowners, sales representatives, insurance companies, adjusters, subcontractors, and internal staff.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, comfortable working with multiple tasks simultaneously, and 3-year minimum experience in roofing insurance restoration process. Experience with roofing, insurance claims processes, supplemental documentation is required. Bilingual in Spanish/ English preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
Customer Relations
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries.
- Schedule roof inspections, adjuster meetings, and project appointments.
- Maintain regular communication with homeowners throughout the claims and construction process.
- Follow up with customers after project completion and request online reviews.
CRM Administration
- Manage and maintain customer files within JobNimbus.
- Create and update projects, tasks, notes, and workflows.
- Upload contracts, photographs, insurance documents, and invoices.
- Track project progress and ensure files remain complete and organized.
Insurance Claims Coordination
- Receive and organize insurance paperwork from homeowners.
- Upload insurance estimates, scope sheets, and claim documentation into JobNimbus.
- Assist in preparing supplement packages and supporting documents for insurance carriers.
- Follow up with insurance companies regarding claim status, supplements, and approvals.
- Coordinate scheduling of adjuster meetings with homeowners and sales representatives.
Sales and Administrative Support
- Prepare contracts, proposals, and customer correspondence.
- Send electronic agreements for signature.
- Collect deposits, progress payments, and final payments.
- Maintain permit records and assist with permit applications when required.
- Order office supplies and maintain company records.
- Support management with various administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative, customer service, or office management experience preferred.
- Experience in construction, roofing, restoration, or insurance claims.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Experience with JobNimbus or similar CRM systems preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with insurance restoration claims.
- Understanding of residential roofing terminology.
- Experience working with subcontractors and scheduling trades.
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
