We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management following HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques.
- Monitor patients' conditions in Pre-operative, PACU, or Operating Room.
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection.
- Educate patients and families on health coaching topics such as chronic disease management, discharge planning, family planning, nutrition, and post-acute care strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare standards.
Skills
- Proven experience working in various clinical environments
- Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems
- Skilled in IV insertions
- Excellent patient assessment skills
- Ability to complete medical history phone calls
- ACLS preferred
License/Certification
- RN License to practice in the State of PA, current BLS (Preferred)
This is a Monday-Friday opportunity with evenings, weekends, and major holidays off in a successful out-patient surgery center in Wexford, with another facility in Center Township. Outstanding benefit package on first day of employment.
