Day Shift
Consistent with the Iowa Department of Public Health Bureau of Professional Licensure Standards, the Psychiatric Unit Therapist is a member of the MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center multi-disciplinary treatment team and is accountable for the delivery of holistic, compassionate, individualized, and effective care demonstrated using the core functions of practice associated in a clinical role.
Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Undertake primary counselor/clinician responsibilities for designated patients including:
Assure compliance with all regulatory rules and regulations including HIPAA, 42 C.F.R, IDPH, Joint Commission, etc.
Consult, confer and coordinate with members of the multi-disciplinary team for psychiatric services including the psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, social workers, etc.

Education: Master’s Degree: LMHC or LISW preferred, will consider LMSW (Supervision available).

Licenses/Registration: Licensure in the state of Iowa
