Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, offices, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care procedures to ensure safety and appearance standards are met
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure operational efficiency
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Handle waste disposal responsibly by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly
- Assist with deep cleaning projects including carpet shampooing, window washing, and industrial cleaning tasks as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards and address any maintenance issues promptly
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
- Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and safety procedures essential
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
