Excel at Woodbury for Rehab and Nursing is urgently seeking an Infection Control/Staff Educator.
You must be a Registered Nurse to apply.
This position requires an organized, detail-oriented individual with knowledge of nursing re-education and the leadership qualities to supervise staff.
The ideal candidate will be professional, dependable and self-motivated and willing to work flexible hours and at times this may include weekends.

Customary Duties

Ensures accuracy in documentation and information provided to physicians, residents and their responsible parties

Conduct rounds

Provides patient, family and staff education regarding support services and other therapies.

Provides patient, family and staff education

Will be a resource person for physicians and clinical staff.

Schedule and Conduct facility in-services in conjunction with DOH guidelines and clinical needs of the facility.

Requirements

Registered Nurse in New York

Minimum of 2-years experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility

Organized and detail-oriented

Flexible and dependable

Capable of meeting deadlines

Able to work independently & efficiently

MDS knowledge

Familiar with Electronic Medical Records
Additionally is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Participates in the performance improvement plan of the organization.
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time, M-F with some weekends
Salary: $55-$60 per hour
