Qualifications & Experience:
- Michigan SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based environments strongly valued
- Skilled in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a diverse school-age population
- Experience or interest in teletherapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work effectively with students, educators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for middle school students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs), monitor progress, and document outcomes
- Provide direct therapy, both individually and in small groups, targeting a range of communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with school and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Utilize best practices to deliver both traditional and innovative interventions
