IN-HOME PET CARE PROVIDER, 24-HOUR ESTATE STAYS (INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR)
Woof by CC is a luxury in-home pet concierge service based in Scottsdale, serving Paradise Valley, Cave Creek, and the greater Phoenix area. Our clients trust us with their pets and their homes, and we take both seriously. We are growing, and we are looking for a care provider who can take on Estate Stays, our signature 24-hour in-home service.
WHAT AN ESTATE STAY ACTUALLY IS
This is not a check-in job. Our Estate Stays are billed per 24-hour period, and our standard is that the pet is never alone for more than 4 consecutive hours. That does not mean leaving for 4 hours, returning for 1, and leaving for 4 again. You spend the majority of the day in the client's home, day and night, and you use good judgment about when you step out. You make your own decisions, but you communicate them, to the family and especially to our founder.
WHO THIS WORKS FOR
Because of the 24-hour nature of this role, it fits someone with a genuinely flexible schedule: you work from home, you set your own hours, or you are simply a homebody who loves the idea of being paid to relax in a beautiful home with great pets. We also need availability for house call visits in the mornings, midday, and evenings.
One thing to understand up front: this work is inconsistent. We get busy, especially around holidays, but bookings depend on client preferences and team availability, and some weeks are quieter than others. We are a team and we support each other, but this is supplemental or flexible income, not a guaranteed weekly schedule.
COMPENSATION
- Estate Stays: $75 per 24-hour period for 1 to 2 pets, $100 for 3 or more dogs, plus client tips
- House call visits: $24 for a 45-minute visit
- Daycare: $17 per hour
- Fuel reimbursement on many bookings, typically $3 to $15 per visit depending on distance
- Holiday availability and strong client relationships are how our providers earn the most
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Reliability above all. No last-minute callouts. If something comes up, you communicate with as much notice as humanly possible
- Excellent texting. Fast responses, clear updates. This is how our whole operation runs
- Amazing pet photos. Clear, well-lit, never blurry. Our clients live for these updates
- A naturally clean person: clean appearance, clean car, and you leave a home better than you found it
- Comfort in luxury homes, including alarm systems and household technology
- Ability to think on your feet, paired with the humility to ask for help instead of improvising
- Experience with pets of many breeds and an understanding of behaviors like anxiety and high energy
- A calm demeanor. We do not use force with animals unless absolutely necessary for safety
- Knowledge of science-backed pet care, and the ability to explain why you do what you do. Our founder holds a Biomedical Sciences degree and it shapes how we care for animals
- Must pass a background check

HOW WE WORK
This is a 1099 independent contractor role, so there is no formal training program. You will receive brand guidance, a brief orientation, and a few shadowing sessions, some observing and some hands-on. Our founder is an organized, direct leader with high expectations, and she is blunt. If you do your job well, communicate, and care about the animals, you will thrive here. This is a growth role: as we expand, part-time and full-time positions will open, and our contractors are first in line.
Trust is everything in this work. We send you into people's homes. If we cannot trust you, and if warmth is not the first thing people feel from you, this will not be a fit.
