We coach humans, not just workouts.
At Tradewinds Fitness, great coaching means connection, consistency, and helping people feel capable — in the gym and everywhere else in their lives. If that's how you coach, you'll feel at home here.
We're a strength-focused group training studio built for real people with real lives. Our members come to us because they're tired of burnout workouts, confusing programs, and gyms that treat fitness like punishment. We're known for thoughtful, well-coached classes, an encouraging environment, long-term client relationships, and a team culture that actually supports its coaches.
(If you're looking for a loud, ego-driven gym where intensity matters more than people — this isn't it, and that's okay.)
The Role
As a Part-Time Group Fitness Coach and Personal Trainer, you'll lead group training sessions using our structured programming and help create an environment where clients feel supported, challenged, and excited to come back.
You'll:
- Coach group classes with intention, safety, and clarity
- Coach individuals in a one-on-one setting
- Create a welcoming, high-energy (but not chaotic) class experience
- Build real relationships with clients through conversation and support
- Set up and break down equipment; help keep the studio clean and organized
- Open and/or close the studio as scheduled
- Participate in monthly team meetings and events
Optional growth paths: personal training, small group training, and expanded coaching roles as the business grows — including a track toward more hours or full-time (with benefits).
Schedule
- Part-time with flexible scheduling
- Rotating weekend availability
Who Thrives Here
- Coaches who genuinely care about people and are energized by helping clients win small, meaningful victories
- Confident, calm, and encouraging on the floor
- Open to feedback and committed to improving their craft
- Team players who value culture and communication
Our coaches don't burn out here. They stay because they're supported (not micromanaged), proud of the coaching they deliver, and part of something bigger than a schedule.
