Job Overview
We need a Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to advocate for clients who have suffered injuries and to lead complex personal injury cases from inception through resolution.
Duties
- Manage a caseload of personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, and other injury-related cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery requests with precision and clarity.
- Develop case strategies through detailed investigation, evidence collection, and expert consultations.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Prepare cases for trial by organizing evidence, drafting trial briefs, and collaborating with expert witnesses.
Experience
- Proven experience in personal injury law with a strong track record of successful case resolutions.
- Familiarity with general litigation practices and procedural law knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to handle personal injury cases from initial consultation through trial or settlement.
- Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis, along with excellent legal writing skills.
- Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent research abilities to support litigation efforts effectively.
- Previous law office experience demonstrating organizational skills in managing multiple cases efficiently.
