Summary
The Commercial HVAC Installer is responsible for installing HVAC equipment and systems that keep customer facilities operating efficiently. This role performs new installations, retrofits, and equipment upgrades while maintaining Enervise’s commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and customer service. Work is performed with a focus on efficient, quality, and courteous service.
Duties Include:

Install commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, split systems, ductwork, piping, sheet metal, boilers, chillers, basic electrical and related components.

Read and follow blueprints, specifications, installation drawings, and job instructions.

Perform system start-up support and operational checks as directed.

Work closely with Foremen, Project Managers, customers, and other trades to support project completion.

Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, organization, and professional conduct.

Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, vendors, and other jobsite personnel.

Troubleshoot installation issues and identify practical solutions with appropriate guidance.

Document completed work accurately and communicate material, job progress, and equipment needs.

Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and company assets in a safe and professional manner.
Job Qualifications & Physical Requirements

Must demonstrate knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, sheet metal, and installation practices.

Must have the ability to work independently or as part of a crew while following direction from field leadership.

Must be able to read and apply construction drawings, installation instructions, and specifications.

Must be capable of working in mechanical rooms, rooftops, construction environments, and varying indoor and outdoor conditions.

Must be capable of exerting physical effort required for field work, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 75 lbs., climbing ladders, working from lifts or elevated platforms, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, and using hand and power tools.

Hearing, vision, depth perception, and communication abilities must be sufficient to safely perform installations, identify hazards, and communicate with customers and team members.
Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

2+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience

Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record

Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety

Ability to pass required background check and drug screening requirements
Education and Experience:
-
HVAC trade school certification or related technical training preferred.
-
EPA Certification preferred.
-
OSHA 10 certification preferred.
