Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Opportunity
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school-based setting. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced clinicians as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY-SLPs) looking to begin their careers in a supportive educational environment.
Position Details
- Schedule: 7.75-hour workday
- Lunch: 30-minute duty-free lunch
- Student Population: Primarily Pre-K through 5th Grade
- Maximum Caseload: 55 students
- Setting: School-Based
Qualifications
We welcome candidates with the following backgrounds:
- SLP – School-Based Experience
- CFY-SLP (Clinical Fellowship Year)
- SLP – Pediatrics
- SLP – Healthcare
- SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Ideal Candidate
- Holds or is eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Passionate about helping students achieve communication success.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred but not required.
