Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional climate control solutions across commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities
- Install, service, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, ventilation systems, and building automation controls.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems related to HVAC equipment using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting to identify mechanical or electrical faults; perform repairs or recommend replacements as needed.
- Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to perform repairs or modifications on HVAC components.
- Ensure compliance with EPA regulations by handling refrigerants properly during system servicing or recharging.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all maintenance activities thoroughly.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues clearly and provide professional recommendations for system improvements or repairs.
- Assist with HVAC system installation projects from planning through execution while adhering to safety standards.
- Support property maintenance tasks related to plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical systems as required.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or mechanic with a strong background in construction site work or property maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance across various types of equipment including refrigeration units and boilers.
- Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, building automation systems (BAS), electrical wiring diagrams, and HVAC design principles.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems such as ammonia refrigeration units is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems efficiently.
- Experience working with hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools required for equipment repair.
- Valid driver’s license (preferably <PERSON> driver) with a clean driving record for field service assignments.
- Certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling certification are required; additional certifications in electrical diagnostics or HVAC/R are advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
