Job Title: Assistant Soccer Coach – After School & Daycare Programs
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM & 1:45 PM–5:45 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Hours: 25–35 hours/week
Pay: $14.00–$16.50/hour
About the Role:
We’re looking for a passionate, reliable, and energetic Assistant Soccer Coach to support our after-school, daycare programs, and holiday camps. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head Coach to deliver engaging, age-appropriate soccer sessions and foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants. You’ll also support mindfulness activities, communication with parents and school staff, and ensure program quality and participant safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Coach with creating and executing soccer training plans.
- Lead or support mindfulness activities with children.
- Maintain professional and positive communication with school staff and parents.
- Record and maintain accurate daily attendance.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during activities.
- Attend professional development meetings and training sessions.
- Participate in full-day holiday camps during student breaks (7:30 AM–5:45 PM).
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children (required).
- Background in soccer, sports, or physical education (preferred).
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and proactive.
- Must be available to work for a full school year (July - June).
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
