About the Role
As a member of our clinical team, you'll evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with a variety of communication, cognitive, feeding, and swallowing needs. Our therapists work closely with patients, caregivers, physicians, educators, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that help patients achieve meaningful, functional outcomes.
Our practice serves a diverse population, allowing clinicians to expand their skills while maintaining autonomy in treatment planning and clinical decision-making.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations for pediatric and adult patients.
- Design and implement individualized therapy programs based on each patient's strengths, goals, and clinical presentation.
- Deliver evidence-based intervention for speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
- Support patients with neurological diagnoses, developmental delays, speech sound disorders, aphasia, dysarthria, and related communication challenges.
- Collaborate with caregivers and interdisciplinary providers to promote continuity of care.
- Provide patient and family education, home practice recommendations, and progress updates.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation using an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute to a collaborative clinical environment.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Maintains a current state SLP license.
- Possesses the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Demonstrates excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills.
- Values compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Can work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Is organized, dependable, and committed to high-quality documentation.
Additional Experience We Value
While not required, experience in any of the following areas is appreciated:
- Pediatric speech and language disorders
- Adult neurogenic communication disorders
- Cognitive rehabilitation
- Feeding and swallowing (dysphagia)
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
- Parkinson's treatment programs such as LSVT LOUD® or SPEAK OUT!®
