Position Summary
At Truly Gelato, we believe exceptional hospitality begins with exceptional storytelling. The Gelato Ambassador is responsible for creating memorable guest experiences by serving artisan gelato, sharing the stories behind our ingredients and flavors, and delivering warm, knowledgeable hospitality with every interaction.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- Scoop and serve gelato according to company standards.
- Educate guests on flavor profiles, ingredient sourcing, seasonal offerings, and production techniques. What makes us different.
- Share the stories behind our products and ingredients in an engaging and approachable manner.
- Prepare basic espresso beverages including espresso, americano, cortado latte.
- Operate the Toast POS system accurately and efficiently.
- Process guest transactions and handle cash responsibly.
- Assist with stocking, cleaning, merchandising, and maintaining Gelato storefront presentation standards.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain equipment temps per company standard to ensure product quality is the desired texture and consistency consistently.
Qualifications
- Hospitality, restaurant, coffee shop, or retail experience preferred but not required.
- Passion for food, gelato, ice cream, coffee, and guest service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and retain product knowledge.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
