Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet the restaurant's quality standards.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding order status and special requests.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience by providing friendly service.
Experience
- Previous experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with guest services and hospitality principles is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is beneficial.
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
