Salon Receptionist – $15 per hour & up
We are looking to add a friendly, energetic receptionist to our team who is committed to ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers while working in a fast paced environment.
Cookie Cutters is the nation’s fastest growing children’s hair salon franchise. Our salon provides a fun, relaxed, drama-free work environment with no late nights. We support our local communities and have a special focus on helping children of all abilities with their hair care needs. Our salons feature a playset for the kids to climb on, fantasy chairs to sit in during their haircuts, TVs with movies and shows, and lollipops & balloons when they are done.
As the receptionist you will:
- serve as the first point of contact for our customers welcoming them to the salon
- execute front desk activities including the operation of the POS system, taking phone calls, managing appointments, checking customers out at the end of the appointment, etc.
- coordinate activities in the salon to achieve a very high level of customer satisfaction, including helping stylists to stay on time with their appointments
- contribute, along with the rest of the team, to maintaining a clean salon and complete routine tasks such as closing the cash drawer at the end of the day
Minimum Requirements:
- ability to work with kids, parents and coworkers in an engaging, welcoming and friendly manner
- solid written and verbal communication skills
- team orientation with a desire to work with and help others
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- perform administrative duties such as operating the salon POS system and printer, opening and closing the store, and basic salon-cleaning duties
- ability to be resourceful to solve unexpected problems as they arise
- availability to work during the following times each week: OPEN to CLOSE Saturday and Sunday; 3:00PM to CLOSE Monday through Friday
- daytime availability (10:00AM to 3:00PM Monday - Friday) is desirable but not essential
Prior, related experience is preferred, but not required.
