Lexington Eye Associates is seeking a full-time Patient Service Specialist to join our growing team in Dedham, Massachusetts. As the first point of contact for our patients, the Patient Service Specialist plays an essential role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring the smooth coordination of daily operations. What You'll Do
· Welcome patients and manage the check-in and check-out process
· Collect co-payments and assist with contact lens ordering and dispensing
· Schedule appointments while optimizing provider schedules
· Obtain, manage, and troubleshoot referrals and insurance authorizations
· Maintain accurate patient demographic and financial information
· Communicate proactively with clinical and billing teams to support excellent patient care
· Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail
What We're Looking For
· Previous healthcare experience required
· Experience using Epic EMR strongly preferred
· Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
· Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
· Dependable, collaborative, and committed to working as part of a team
· Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
