Overview
Join our new family business located directly across from Scarborough beach narragansett. We are looking for a cook who can prepare basic breakfast items use fryers and prepare deli sandwiches part time few days a week possibly weekends main area of need 8to1pm Mondays Tuesday's wednesdays. Possible weekends if needed
Duties
- Prepare and assemble breakfast and lunch menu items with precision, adhering to recipe standards and presentation guidelines
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers food prep tools.
- Assist in food production tasks such as food handling, cooking, grilling, frying making deli sandwiches to order and meal assembly for at times high paced service
- Follow strict food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times
- Maintain accurate food handling records, monitor inventory levels, and assist with food ordering when necessary
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety
Skills
- Valid Serve safe certificate
- Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing Experience
- Skilled in operating kitchen equipment including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, knives, and other culinary tools
- Excellent food handling skills with a focus on high-volume production environments
- Familiarity with culinary techniques such as grilling, food production processes
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and safety standard
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
