Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient daily operations and high-quality service delivery
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and safety regulations aligned with industry standards
- Oversee industrial cleaning processes, including deep cleans and specialized sanitation tasks
- Manage laundry services, ensuring timely processing and quality control of linens and uniforms
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness standards across all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities
- Train staff on custodial practices, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and janitorial resources to optimize operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality or commercial cleaning industry
- Strong background in cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning, laundry services, and custodial work
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable
