Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of automotive systems and be proficient in both low and high voltage applications. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues using various tools and equipment, including Ohmmeters and schematics.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, focusing on automotive electrical systems.
- Work with distributed control systems to enhance vehicle functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communication with service manager on customers automotive needs
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including electrical systems, engines, transmissions, and brakes.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as Snap-On and Autel Ultra for vehicle analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Self motivated individual that can work well with others.
- Certification in automotive technology or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
