Step into a pivotal role as a School Psychologist providing vital psychological and educational support across multiple campuses for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity offers full-time hours with the chance to work closely with students, educators, and families, ensuring comprehensive mental health and academic services in a supportive school environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Texas School Psychologist license
- Recent experience in a school-based psychology setting
- Demonstrated skill in conducting Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
- Proven ability to manage multiple assessments and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Reliable transportation required for travel between assigned campuses
- Committed to working onsite (remote work is not available)
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and contribute to Student Support Team (SST) meetings
- Obtain informed consent and act as case manager for FIEs
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Present evaluation results at Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Maintain precise documentation, ensuring compliance with state and district timelines
- Collaborate daily with special education teams, administrators, general educators, and families
- Provide support across 3–4 campuses as assigned, traveling as needed
