Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our vibrant Youth Sports Organization. In this role, you will design, organize, and facilitate engaging activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall well-being for the athletes within our sports leagues. Your enthusiasm and creativity will foster a lively community atmosphere, ensuring athletes feel valued, connected, and supported. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of athletes while developing your skills in youth development and program development.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of recreational activities tailored to safari sports athletes’ interests and abilities, including social events, outings, arts and crafts, and wellness programs
- Build strong rapport with safari sports parents by engaging in meaningful conversations and understanding their individual preferences and needs
- Develop new programs that enhance safari student athlete engagement, promote socialization, and foster a sense of community within the safari sports organization
- Maintain accurate records of athlete participation, feedback, and activity outcomes to inform ongoing program improvements
- Assist with calling and welcoming incoming parents of safari athletes
- Assist with Creating welcome flyer of new safari athletes and sharing on our social media sites.
- Create and assist in managing activities virtually that you are not physically able to attend.
Skills
- Proven experience in event planning within youth sports environments
- Knowledge of sports
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction, team collaboration, and athlete rapport building
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for scheduling, documentation, and reporting purposes
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaging programs tailored to diverse resident populations
- Experience working with student athletes
- Ability to coordinate student athlete events smoothly while managing multiple priorities efficiently

Pay: $100.00 - $250.00 per week
