As a Trauma Surgeon, you will play a vital role in the surgical intervention and management of trauma patients. - Assess and manage trauma patients in need of surgical intervention

Perform surgical procedures and post-operative care

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans

Monitor and evaluate patient progress during recovery

Provide education and support to patients and their families

Participate in on-call responsibilities as required

Stay current with advancements in trauma surgery techniques

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and standards
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree

Valid medical license in the state of practice

Completion of a residency program in General Surgery

Board certification in Trauma Surgery (preferred)

Strong surgical skills and clinical judgment

Schedule: 24-hour in-house and beeper call shifts, 6a-6a
Admissions: 40-80 per day
Patient Population: Adults
Duties: Trauma and acute care surgery
Support Staff: NP, PA
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
ATLS required, BLS and DEA preferred
