Job Description:
We are seeking reliable, energetic, and customer-service-oriented individuals to join our event team as Tradeshow Booth Attendants at the upcoming national school food service show, at the Charlotte Convention Center, in Charlotte, NC . This role is essential in maintaining a clean and inviting booth while preparing and serving heated food samples to event attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Heat and prepare food samples using provided appliances (e.g., ovens, warmers)
- Safely handle food according to sanitation and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the booth throughout the event
- Restock samples and supplies as needed
- Dispose of waste and keep preparation areas tidy
- Greet and engage with attendees in a friendly, professional manner
- Assist with booth setup and breakdown before and after the event
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or event work preferred but not required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, public-facing environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and personal hygiene
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctual, dependable, and professional in appearance and conduct
